DSKY Model

Description

DSKY is the main peripheral of the Apollo Guidance Computer (AGC), the computer that got humans to the Moon and back.

This peripheral consists of luminescent displays and buttons which allowed the astronauts to communicate with the computer.

My objective is to remake a modern version of this DSKY, designing it myself and making it work with a simulated version of the AGC.

I am currently working on the displays by using many 7-segments displays and multiplexing them.

I use the original NASA documents to make the mechanical pieces like the front of the DSKY and use the resources made available by the VirtualAGC team.
